[Michlib-l] Japanese Children's books?

We have a patron looking for Japanese children's books for a child in elementary school that wants to read, but is struggling with English. We haven't had much with the MeL search engine, but have had luck by first searching Ann Arbor's catalog (Thank you Ann Arbor!) for titles and then searching for those in MeL. So, my question is, are there other libraries in Michigan with a large collection of Japanese language children's books?
