[Michlib-l] Touchscreen technology in Youth Services

Hi All, Considering recent research on frequent touch screen use leading to a decline in children's fine motor skills, hand strength, coordination, and dexterity, we're curious if this has changed what types of technology libraries are providing for children to use while at the library--or if it has changed what you plan to provide in the future. We're specifically wondering about touchscreen-based technology, like AWE learning stations, iPads, Launchpads, computers with touchscreen monitors, and others. Thanks!
