Last week, CADL kicked off Libraries Rock with a little bit of Country. We partnered with WITL radio on a unique promotion that gave two lucky people the opportunity to become “Roadies” during the Taste of Country Concert in Lansing. The winners got to help behind the scenes, as well as meet all the bands including Country Music Star, Brett Eldredge. (Images of winners with Eldredge and crowd size are attached)

CADL used the promotion to create awareness of SRP, drive web traffic (entries were taken on our site) and position the library as a source for Country Music. There were over 250 entries and 9,000 people in attendance for the concert on June 9th. We also experienced a double–digit increase in SRP registrations when compared to the same period in 2017.

Images are attached for a Taste of Country Concert promotion we did with our top radio station. One lucky winner and a guest won a chance to be the concert’s official roadie. There were over 250 entries. We used the promotion to create awareness of summer reading and position the library as a source for country music.
