We’re just checking our practices against those of other libraries with regard to Claims Returned/Claims Never Had materials.  Right now we will not question a patron from adding more claims returned items if they have made 3 or less previous claims.  Also, we currently keep track of Claims Returned/Claims Never Had items on the patron’s record for 3 years.  We are thinking of reducing this time to two years instead of three.  How do other libraries handle Claims Returned type items?
