State Emphasis Program for worker protections in manufacturing

MIOSHA focuses efforts on protecting workers from exposure in manufacturing settings

With the launch of the new the State Emphasis Program (SEP) focusing on COVID-19 safety and health in manufacturing, the MIOSHA Consultation Education and Training (CET) Division is reminding employers and employees that there is help and guidance available.

The MIOSHA Consultation Education and Training (CET) Division educates employers and employees in safety and health awareness so they are better prepared to recognize, control and prevent hazardous working conditions. As an integral part of the MIOSHA program, CET provides the ability for employers to learn proactively about the workplace safety and health rules that affect their workplace, to understand best practices for creating and maintaining a safe work environment, and to strive for program recognition of significant workplace safety and health program performance.

Additionally, if you an employer with less than 250 employees at a site and less than 500 employees Nationwide, who works in a high hazard industry and is interested in improving overall workplace safety and health, you can request a free MIOSHA Consultation Education and Training (CET) Onsite hazard survey consultation visit, with NO CITATIONS or PENALTIES.
