Grand Valley State University Libraries are hiring a Grand Rapids Libraries Manager to work at the GVSU Downtown Grand Rapids Campus Libraries and a Mary Idema Pew Library Manager to work at the main library located on GVSU’s main campus in Allendale.

Under the direction of the department director and in collaboration with a department management team, each position manages and supports the operations, access services, and public services for its respective location.

The Managers are responsible for learning about and addressing the site-specific needs of their Libraries and supervising the staff in implementing public and access services initiatives. The manager locally implements, and customizes when necessary, access and public services policies, guidelines, and strategies in alignment with departmental direction. With an emphasis on ensuring inclusive, accessible, quality user services and in close collaboration with the Director of Public and Access Services, each Manager provides input on the strategy and philosophy of access services and public services.

Salary Range: $52,000-$60,000
