United for Libraries

Are you a Director of a Library?

Are you a Library Staff Member?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then United For Libraries is a resource that can help you with the management, operation and well-being of your library, its patrons, staff, and administration.

A Division of the American Library Association that is focused on the needs and concerns of Library Trustees and Friends’ groups, United For Libraries provides access to training and information on topics from fundraising to hiring.

For example, several sample library policies are available within the Trustee area.

The Library of Michigan, through IMLS/LSTA funds, subsidizes access to these resources for every library in Michigan.
