Opening Saturday, October 12, 2024 in the Library of Michigan’s Lake Erie Room, the exhibit highlights the work of industrial photographer, Norman Zadoorian, father of award-winning Michigan author
Michael Zadoorian. Over the course of his career, Norman photographed nuclear power plants, supermarkets, strikes, local politicos, and workers from all walks of life. The photographs in “The Searching Eye” are unique

"We Want Your Yearbooks" Campaign Continues
A big thank you to all the libraries, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to the Library of Michigan's "We Want Your Yearbooks"
campaign! The response we have received so far has been amazing as we work to build a comprehensive collection of Michigan yearbooks. We also appreciate the efforts by everyone who has assisted in publicizing the project. Despite the response so far, there
are still many schools not represented in the Library of Michigan's yearbook collection. Look for periodic posts about the initiative on the Library of Michigan's social media accounts as the campaign continues throughout the fall season. More information
about the project as well as downloadable/printable graphics to help spread the word is available at
Michigan.gov/LibraryGift.
