Yesterday our community voted yes on both our operational millage (renewal plus .5 mil) and on creating a capital improvement and maintenance fund (.5 mil). We asked our patrons for what we actually need to sustain services and prevent deferred building maintenance, and we knew it was a big ask. Operational passed with 68% yes votes, and the capital fund passed with 67% yes votes. 

I'm delighted that today is such a positive day for so many libraries!
