The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) is pleased to announce the availability of $57 million in grant funds to provide in-person before-school,
after-school, before-and-after-school, and/or summer programming to children and youth in any of grades K to 12. This grant opportunity will be awarded through a competitive application process under Michigan
Public Act 120 of 2024, Section 32n.
Michigan After School Partnership (MASP) and MiLEAP are partnering to offer a series of events and meetings to support new and returning OST Grant applicants.

OST Grant Information Sessions – In-Person
Representatives from MASP and MiLEAP will share information and resources to help potential applicants navigate the RFP process, gain access to the online
application and grant management system, learn about applicant eligibility and grant requirements, and discuss grant writing tips and other resources related to the 2024 OST grant. New potential applicants are encouraged to attend and returning applicants
are welcome to join as well. Light refreshments (in-person events), networking with potential partners, and opportunities for Q&A and technical assistance will be provided.
Grant Orientation Session – 8/12/2024 – 10:30am
While the Grant Request for Proposals (RFP) will not open until later in August, potential applicants are invited to join a virtual orientation to the RFP
process with MiLEAP staff. Register

Intent to Apply & GEMS/MARS Technical Assistance
Join these sessions to learn more about accessing the online application, submitting your intent to apply, and navigating the online systems required for applying
for the 2024-25 OST Grant. MiLEAP staff will provide real-time technical assistance and support so you are prepared to access the OST Grant application the moment it is released.
