Now it is even MORE important that we find innovative and skilled problem-solving folks to be our full-time Adult Services Manager and separate full-time Youth Services Manager. Our second attempt at a $12 million renovation and expansion failed at the election polls on Tuesday--55% opposed to 45% in favor. We can and will get the renovations done--we've been saving for a while and the reduction of staffing due to reduced hours after November's failure has saved more. But not being able to expand and closing Crossroads to the public is likely to be a real challenge for all of our staff, but especially our managers. We need lots of "out-of-the-box" thinking.
