What are their stories? Local author Laurice LaZebnik will discuss her search to find answers in her own family tree and the importance of discovering your own. Join author LaZebnik's talk about her historical research, her discovery that her great-grandmother was a bootlegger posing as a potato farmer and learn how to preserve your own family's history. "Minnie's Potatoes," Lazebnik's third novel, is historical fiction based on the romantic life of her great-grandmother in Prussia, her life as a pioneer in early Michigan's lumbering era, and her life as a businesswoman brewing and bootlegging moonshine.
