The Dearborn Public Library uses Fax24 as a stand-alone fax machine for our public. It is convenient as it takes very little staff time and allows the public to pay for faxes by credit card for a reasonable price without needing staff interaction. Unfortunately, we've been getting a lot of complaints from staff that the machine is extremely unreliable and that there are frequent problems. We've also heard that Fax24's customer service is very poor. We were wondering if anyone else has found an alternative stand-alone fax solution to Fax24. From my investigations it looks like Fax24 is the only game in town for this kind of service. If you aren't using a stand-alone fax solution, can you let me know how your library deals with offering faxing services for you public? Thank you, Steven F.
