Matheson Memorial Library in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, is seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing and creative librarian to join our team as Adult Services Librarian. Responsibilities include Information & Reference service, adult programming, shared collection development and marketing.

Elkhorn, located just northwest of Lake Geneva, is part of the SHARE computer consortium, which serves communities in the Lakeshores and Mid-Wisconsin Federated Library Systems.

Requirements:

· Master’s degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited institution is preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

· One or more years of experience in a public library setting or other service institution with comparable demands and responsibilities.

· Experience in the areas of community outreach, public speaking, programming and computer technology is highly desirable.

Compensation:

$41,952 - $45,675 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
