[Michlib-l] question about music collection

Hello, We are starting up a music CD collection at our library (Thanks Canton for your donations!!!), and had some questions about organizing. We are planning on organizing by genre, then artist, then title. Issue we're running into right now is classical- do you organize by composer, or by performer? Also curious how other libraries organize, and if you shelf by genre, which genres do you use? Any advice is appreciated!
