Hello –

 

I recently joined my local library’s Friends group (Orion Township) and am going to (attempt!) to assist with PR/Marketing efforts.

I looked online but didn’t come across an active list-serve or forum type environment to query public library friends group, so I am hopeful I can get some feedback this way.

(FOML website seems to be defunct).

 

 

If you have a moment to respond to the below – or find out the responses from your Friends group – I’d greatly appreciate it!

 

1.       What type of email marketing service is your Friends of the Library utilizing to capture emails and market (ie Benchmark, Constant Contact, etc.) – and do you pay?

We currently use Benchmark – free – but have been having many issues and are looking to possibly change.

 

2.       What type of social media is your Friends of the Library group utilizing AND what medium have they seen the most success?

They only have an active Facebook group currently. Curious if it would be worth it to market on twitter, Instagram, etc.
