There’s Still Time to Join Our State-Wide Campaign to Close the Digital Divide
There is still time to join
Governor Whitmer’s new statewide initiative to increase awareness of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a long-term benefit to help qualifying households pay for high-speed internet. The ACP provides eligible families
with a $30 discount on monthly internet service. Unfortunately, only 40% of those eligible in our state have enrolled to receive the benefit.
Organizations
interested in getting involved in this initiative can get signed up here.
You can also register to attend ACP Act Now: Michigan – Jump-starting ACP Awareness In Your Area on
Monday, June 26, at 1:00 p.m. EDT where we will share data, best practices, tools and resources to help you reach ACP-eligible, unconnected households in your community.
Register
for the webinar here.
Thank you for supporting our goal to connect every Michigan household to affordable, reliable home Internet. If you have any questions, reach out to Jessica Robinson at
robinsonj54@michigan.gov. We hope to see you there!
