I know of a few libraries who call these "Next Step" books - between Beginning Readers and Juvenile Fiction. One quick note on what we call leveled readers. I feel like we should really get out of the habit of calling books "Easy" because for the kiddos who are learning to read, they are not easy. I much prefer (BR) Beginning Reader, BTR (Beginning to Read), or if you already use the letter E for Easy Reader, consider a change to E for Early Reader. These books would be identified with a sticker on the spine.
