The Knapp Branch Repair Cafe has been in exile since the branch was closed for repairs—and, while we're at it, renovations. We have been at the Sherwood Forest Branch at 7117 W. 7 Mile Road, and the time has been moved to 1-3 p.m.
Beginning in June, we will meet on the second Saturday of each month at the Main Branch of DPL, which will allow us to run year-round. Tentative time is 11a.m.-1p.m., but I am looking for preferences.
It has been great to see the number of local libraries that have teamed up with the other Detroit Repair Cafe. Still happy to answer any questions about Repair Cafes.
