Michigan libraries,
Michigan and everywhere else are in the middle of an unprecedented health crisis. I know that the situation for Michigan libraries is challenging and the Library of Michigan is committed to doing
what we can to help you find a balance between protecting staff with serving your community. COVID-19 is a public health crisis and libraries need to do their part to reduce its spread. This health crisis affects more than just the physical health of those
who are ill or at risk. It is impacting the social, emotional, educational and economic health of everyone.
Although the Library of Michigan is physically closed to the public our staff is available to assist you with all of your service questions and concerns. Library of Michigan staff are respecting
Governor Whitmer’s Stay-at-Home order and working remotely, but are still available through email and voicemail. Do not hesitate to call or email if you need assistance. Helping you and your libraries is still a priority. The LM staff directory can be found
at: www.michigan.gov/reachthelibrary. Also, you can keep
informed via our social media channels. Follow us at:
