Applications are due May 1, 2019. Given annually since 2000, the Baker & Taylor Awards have recognized more than 50 groups for outstanding efforts to support their library. Two winning groups will each receive $1,000. The awards will be given based on a specific project that took place or culminated during the 2018 calendar year. Applications are judged on planning, implementation, evaluation, innovation and community involvement. Applicants must have a United for Libraries friends or foundation group membership valid through June 2019. Winners will be notified by June 3, 2019.
