I wanted to let you know about 2 programs at the Orion Township Library on November 20th and 22nd. I have attached the flyers in case you can post at your library!

Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him

Thursday, November 20 @ 6:30p

Former U.S. Army Captain and New York Times bestselling author Luis Carlos Montalván will discuss his experiences with life after war and how “Tuesday,” his loyal service dog, saved him. Montalván, who served 17 years, including multiple combat tours, honorably departed the military as a result of physical and psychological wounds sustained. Copies of their inspirational memoir and their new widely acclaimed children’s book will be available for purchase and signing immediately following the presentation. Program funding in part by the Michigan Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Friends of the Orion Township Public Library.
