It promises to be a fun, fascinating, and informative visit to the largest university campus-based nuclear science laboratory in the United States The National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory is the largest university campus-based nuclear science laboratory in the United States. Today, NSCL is the nation’s flagship rare isotope user facility, serving over 700 researchers from more than 20 countries. It is also the nation’s largest university-campus-based nuclear science laboratory, producing approximately 10% of the nation’s Ph.D.s in nuclear physics and ranked the #1 nuclear physics graduate program by U.S. News & World Report. The laboratory employs more than 100 students and provides them with access to top-level research and educational experience. When: Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 4:00pm – 6pm Where: National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory 640 S. Shaw Lane East Lansing, Michigan 48824-1321 Specific entrance and parking information will be sent to attendees on October 21st.
