Sorry for the Sunday update, but thought some of you may like to know in advance – this comes from MIRS and from MSN.com:  Gov. Gretchen WHITMER has a 6 p.m press conference scheduled for tonight during which she is expected to bring Michigan back to a lower phase in the Michigan Safe Start plan. This will mean a return to tighter restrictions on movement in response to skyrocketing coronavirus cases and lower hospital bed capacity.

On Saturday, the state reported 7,072 new cases of the virus as numbers continue to climb to new daily records. Another 65 new deaths were reported on Saturday bringing the number of COVID-19 deaths to 7,994. Michigan is at Stage 4 of the Restart Plan currently.
