
Hello, As part of our series of programs revolving around the traveling Smithsonian Exhibit, Voices and Votes: Democracy in America, currently on display in the library, the Chippewa River District Library is hosting a free Zoom event featuring renowned flautist Galen Abdur-Razzaq. Tomorrow, October 12th, at 7PM, Galen will join us via Zoom to discuss Jazz and the Civil Right Movement. Galen is an extraordinary flautist, speaker, and educator. His program focuses on the history of Jazz, chronicling music from the turn of the century to the present day.
