Slogan/Theme gathering for 2026/2027
Have you ever thought about where our Collaborative Summer Library Program’s (CSLP) themes and slogans come from? Who thinks them up? How does CSLP select each year’s slogan? Well, the answer is YOU!
Each year CSLP seeks feedback from Michigan library staff for future summer slogan and theme suggestions. Libraries from across the nation contribute too and together we come to consensus. So now is your time
to SHINE! Please complete this brief survey to suggest a Slogan for the 2026 theme of Dinosaurs, (artist: Kaylani Juanita
http://kaylanijuanita.com) and a fresh, new Theme for 2027.
For a list of previous theme and slogans go to:
https://www.cslpreads.org/themes-and-slogans/. Please share your suggestions via
this form by Friday, February 24th. Michigan’s top picks will be submitted to CSLP to compile with other suggestions from across the country.
All Together Now Summer Symposium recordings to support your program planning are available at:

Improving Access to Information Grants - How to Apply : Literacy, Digital Inclusion and Programming
March 2, 2023 – 1:00-2:30 pm ET
The Library of Michigan Improving Access to Information Grant program for 2024 is open! Please join us for a webinar on how to apply for the Literacy, Digital Inclusion and Library Programming priorities.
This LSTA grant program is designed to provide public and academic libraries and library cooperatives with the opportunity to expand services for learning and access to information and/or to develop library services that provide users improved access to information.
Three of the four priorities are to improve access to services & information in areas of literacy; to improve access to information for community users with limited online access, e.g. improving equity through digital inclusion; or to develop improved library
programming. This webinar will focus on these three priorities.
Register now – recording will be sent to registrants. This program is supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
